Since 2017 Bee’s Knees Week has grown into the largest sustainability initiative in the spirits industry, bringing together a passionate community of environmental stewards and cocktail enthusiasts. Bee’s Knees week runs from September 23 – October 2.
You can help the bees with these 3 steps:
Order a Bee’s Knees cocktail at your favorite bar or restaurant, or make one at home
Snap a photo of your cocktail and/or bottle of Barr Hill and use #BeesKneesWeek and tag @Barrhillgin
For every photo shared Barr Hill will plant 10 sq/ft of Bee Habitat
This specialty cocktail, called the Bee Sting, is Alexander’s version of the Bee’s Knees. The Bees Knees is a cocktail that’s made with a few base ingredients: gin, honey, and lemon! It’s a simple and sweet drink that’s perfect for your next evening out on Hilton Head Island.
The ingredients used in Alexander's Bee Sting are:
Barr Hill Organic Gin (made with juniper and raw honey)
St Germain Liqueur
Fresh squeezed lemon juice
Topped with a splash of soda water and a dusting of cinnamon
